Heartworm Prevention
"It is the policy of this hospital to test dogs once a year for heartworm infection, as recommended by guidelines set forth by the American Heartworm Society. Furthermore, we recommend using a heartworm preventive once a month for the prevention of this potentially fatal disease." www.heartwormsociety.org A box of Heartgard has 12 doses in it. We are competitively priced with other clinics.
FUN FACT ABOUT HEARTGARD! If you purchase Heartgard from a vet clinic, and your pet is diagnosed with Heartworms, MERIAL will pay for your pets treatment! This insurance does not cover your pet if purchased from another source other than a licensed vet clinic. (pet must be on Heartgard for at least 3 months prior to diagnosis. It is VERY dangerous to give Heartgard to your pet if diagnosed with heartworms.) We also have some great rebates that WE mail in for you! Make sure you ask about them at your next visit!
